Everyday Kindness
UPDATED 11/1/08
It’s been almost a year since I made the commitment to do one small kind act a day. During this time, thirty-six courageous bloggers joined the Everyday Kindness Challenge. Together, we have committed thousands (9,000+) of acts of kindness.
As the year deadline approaches, I have been puzzled as to what to do.
Continue the challenge? Of course.
However it turns out that Kindness is easy to do but challenging to talk about doing. The Everyday Kindness blog has languished.
I am splitting the challenge into two parts: the Everyday Kindness Challenge and Simply Kind Tuesdays
The Everyday Kindness Challenge: (The original challenge continues)
- Requires a commitment to doing one kind act a day.
- Let people know you are doing the challenge by posting the Everyday Kindness Challenge banner on your website or blog.
- Email: everydaykindness at gmail dot com . Let me know your blog names and I will add you to the Everyday Kindness Blogroll. Please be patient. You will receive an email when this is completed.
- Post the Everyday Kindness Blogroll to your website or blog.

Hi Claudia,
I think you have done a fabulous job of starting the second round of “everyday kindness” with a Special “Simple Kind Tuesdays” as an extra reminder to do something VERY special on Tuesdays and to remind others to do something very simple to share a kindness done.
Kindness everyday is so easy and almost a deed without a thought but, making a reminder banner is an awesome way to share the thoughts and deeds to be done.
Thanks for starting this a year ago Claudia, and what a special way to jumpstart out second year.

I apologize for missing Week One of Simply Kind Tuesdays, but I’ve just created & published a Week 2-Simply Kind post at Sacred Ruminations this morning. I’m delighted to continue participating in the Everyday Kindness movement and … I plan to make this a regular part of my blogging ;–)
Thanks for all you do!
Hugs and blessings,
